Messages from the ground

“We live near the river, we worship it and at the same time we pollute it, we all have to understand that river is very important for us and others who live far away. We have learned in Waterschool about the current situation of water resources. I had made a group and aware others about water conservation and will do whatever I can to save water”.

Neelgagan, Water Champion, Upper Primary School, Rooth Bangar, Bulandshahr

“I teach other students about handwashing methods. I also made a compost pit at home and explain to people of my village why water saving is important and how small acts could save a huge amount of water. Whenever I see someone misusing the submersible, I immediately check them.”

Joravar Singh, Water Champion, Upper Primary School, Rooth Bangar, Bulandshahr
